Tony’s Dirty Drinks

“Dirty drinks” are sodas, teas, or lemonade customized with various additions of flavored syrups, cream, or even flavored creamers with the base typically being a type of soda but can use a base of tea, lemonade, or even flavored sparkling water. More broadly speaking any non-alcoholic type of “dirty drink” is a drink or beverage with additional ingredients added to it. Typically, it refers to soda drinks as “Dirty Soda”. These sodas specifically have flavored syrups and coffee Creamer (that has been lightly whipped to mimic the froth of espresso drinks) added to them. As this trend has evolved, we find a new genre of non-alcoholic crafted drinks quickly trending as “dirty drinks “. These drinks Often include soda water or flavored carbonated water such as LaCroix, sparkling ice, and splash to name a few. These “Handcrafted” style of drinks is beginning to include different types of bases like Black or green tea, fresh lemonades and even Red Bull energy drinks that are all infused with these different types of syrups and various other ingredients.

These Flavor infusions have taken non-alcoholic drinks to a whole new level.

As if that weren’t enough, a new emerging trend of infusing energy drinks has been quickly blowing up. One trend on Reddit has popularized using Starbucks refreshers and blending them with Red Bull energy drinks. Dutch brothers have their version of a proprietary style of energy drinks known as “Rebel” that are customizable. In Santa Maria there’s a new east coast style delicatessen called Tonys on Palisade that take their dirty drinks seriously. Tony makes a must to play with his drinks and frequently experiments with different flavors creating new drinks to excite the palette. He has a line of dirty drinks he calls “Handcrafted”.

The foundation for “Handcrafted” can range from sodas, black tea, fresh squeezed lemon juice (for the lemonade drinks), and Red Bull for his Red bull power bomb infusions.
Tony’s Deli also has a more natural approach to energy as he has created a cleaner natural energy drink using a natural caffeine extract, named “Coffeeberry”, derived from the green coffee bean. This extract also contains vitamin B12, L-Theanine, and Guarana. He blends layers of syrup and citrus to deliver a slightly carbonated beverage line called TOP Revive which have a wonderful balance of fruit an acid that deliver a lovely balance that’s not overly sweet and leaves you wanting more…
